Coatings Work for Demanding Projects and Arizona Homes

Surface Protective Coatings LLC (SPC) is an Arizona-licensed contractor based in Yuma. Our experience includes completed military and government coating projects, along with commercial, industrial, and residential flooring work. We bring the same project-first mindset to each space: understand how it will be used, assess the concrete, review the requirements, and put the agreed scope in writing.

Experience that starts with the requirements

Institutional and facility projects can involve specifications, schedules, access, coordination, and operational constraints. Residential projects have their own priorities: appearance, use, preparation, and a clear understanding of the coating system. We review the conditions and goals before recommending a next step. Flooring and coating services

SPC works on residential garage and interior concrete floors, commercial and industrial flooring, public-sector and government coating projects, epoxy and other resinous floor systems, decorative flake and metallic finishes, concrete acid staining, concrete preparation and agreed repairs, joint sealing, and safety striping where included in the scope.

We also review specialty inquiries involving intumescent or fire-protective coatings, firestop-related work, architectural caulking and joint sealants, and deck-coating or waterproofing. Specialty work is accepted only after the exact scope is checked against the applicable license, project specifications, product requirements, and required qualifications. See SPC’s full services and specialty-scope overview.

Training and continuing education

SPC’s project lead, Erick Nunez, has completed continuing-education coursework covering firestop specifications, passive fire protection, fire-protective products and applications, structural-steel fireproofing, and related building-envelope topics. These courses document continuing education; they are not represented as manufacturer authorization, installer certification, engineering credentials, or approval for a particular assembly.

Careful preparation. Clear terms.

Coating performance depends on the concrete, preparation, chosen products, installation, use, and maintenance. We explain the proposed system and document what the project includes. SPC’s 10-year limited warranty is available for eligible systems; coverage, duration, and exclusions are controlled by the written warranty terms for the specific project. If a concern is reported, the covered area and cause are reviewed under those terms. No coating can remove the underlying risks of concrete movement or make every surface condition disappear.
