Protective coating work for demanding facilities

Surface Protective Coatings (SPC) supports government, military, industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential projects in Yuma County and the Yuma Foothills. We plan each scope around the concrete, site conditions, use of the space, and project specifications.

Capabilities at a glance

Project experience

SPC brings government and military project experience, industrial coating work, and hands-on firestop caulking experience on base projects.

Production capacity

SPC reports the ability to prepare and coat approximately 100,000 square feet in a month. Actual capacity depends on scope, site access, system requirements, schedule, and crew availability.

Flooring and concrete systems

  • Epoxy, polyaspartic, polyurea, and other resinous floor systems
  • Urethane cement flooring for suitable service environments
  • Moisture mitigation and water-vapor control as specified for the project
  • Antimicrobial and static-control flooring systems where project requirements call for them
  • Concrete surface preparation, repairs, joint filling, and compatible finishes
  • Polished concrete, grind-and-seal, and concrete staining for suitable slabs

Specialty scopes and facility environments

SPC also pursues joint and sealant work, weatherproofing, specialty painting, and firestop caulking scopes. Relevant environments include schools, courts, banks, correctional facilities, military installations, and other public or industrial sites. The final scope depends on bid documents, site conditions, applicable system requirements, and project-specific qualifications.

A practical project path

  1. Share the location, facility type, approximate area, schedule, and available plans or specifications.
  2. SPC reviews the requested scope and identifies any site information or coordination needed to prepare a proposal.
  3. We align mobilization, preparation, installation, and cure time with project requirements and access constraints.
  4. Work is completed to the agreed scope and system requirements, with closeout information coordinated for the project.
