Floor Coatings & Specialty Project Scopes in Yuma County, Arizona
Surface Protective Coatings LLC (SPC) works on residential, commercial, industrial, and public-sector coating projects in Yuma County and the Yuma Foothills. The right scope depends on the surface, how the space is used, the project documents, and the schedule. We review those details before recommending a system.
SPC is an Arizona-licensed contractor, ROC #326179. Ask us about a project and we will confirm fit, scope, and applicable requirements before preparing a proposal.

Residential garage and interior concrete floors
SPC installs resinous floor-coating systems for residential garages and other suitable concrete floors. Depending on the concrete and the intended use, finish choices may include decorative flake, metallic, and solid-color looks. System choices may include epoxy, polyaspartic, polyurea, or other resinous systems when appropriate for the project.

Commercial, industrial, military, and government flooring
SPC reviews floor-coating projects for commercial and industrial facilities, including public-sector and government environments. Typical project questions include traffic and equipment, chemical or cleaning exposure, downtime, concrete condition, safety requirements, and the written specification. We do not assume that one coating fits every facility.
Depending on project needs and the selected system, options may include epoxy, polyaspartic, polyurea, and other resinous coatings, with flake, metallic, solid-color, quartz, or safety-color finishes where specified and suitable.

Urethane cement and performance flooring
SPC handles urethane-cement flooring scopes for facilities that need a durable resinous floor system selected for the documented service conditions. We review substrate condition, operating temperatures, washdown and cleaning practices, chemicals, traffic, cure windows, and the project specification before recommending a system. Performance depends on the prepared substrate, the specified products, installation, and actual service conditions.
Moisture mitigation and specialized floor systems
Where testing and the selected system indicate it is appropriate, SPC can include concrete moisture-mitigation scopes as part of a flooring project. We also review antimicrobial flooring and static-control or ESD floor-system requirements for projects that specify them. Required testing, product compatibility, performance criteria, and maintenance requirements are confirmed against the project documents; no system is represented as sterile or as guaranteeing a particular electrical or health outcome.
Concrete finishes and decorative flooring
SPC offers concrete acid-stain and metallic floor-finish options, along with the resinous floor systems described above. The final appearance varies with the existing concrete and the selected products; samples and project conditions should be reviewed before a finish is chosen.

Concrete preparation, joint fill, and protection
Flooring projects may include mechanical concrete preparation, crack or surface repairs, joint filling, joint sealing, and safety striping or markings when these are part of the agreed scope. SPC also reviews weatherproofing and waterproofing coating scopes for suitable surfaces. Preparation, joint condition, exposure, drainage, and repair needs are assessed before the system is selected, and the written proposal identifies what is included.
Institutional specialty painting and coating scopes
SPC reviews specialty painting and coating opportunities for schools, courts, banks, correctional facilities, and other demanding institutional environments. Depending on plans and specifications, a project may involve protective or decorative coatings, surface preparation, safety markings, or related coating work. Facility access, security procedures, occupied-site coordination, product requirements, and the exact limits of work are confirmed before quoting.
Other specialty trade inquiries
SPC can review inquiries involving intumescent or fire-protective coatings, firestop-related scopes, architectural caulking and joint sealants, and deck-coating or waterproofing projects. These are not automatic acceptances: the exact work must be checked against Arizona ROC license scope, project specifications, product requirements, and the qualifications required for that system. SPC will define the accepted scope in writing and will not represent a course or general experience as a manufacturer certification or approval.
If a requested specialty scope falls outside SPC’s license or qualifications, SPC will say so before quoting or taking on the work.
How a project starts
Share the project location, type of property, surface, approximate area, photos or plans, schedule, and performance needs. SPC will review the information and identify a sensible next step. A request for review is not a quote or a commitment to perform work.
